How Can I Test for Carpal Tunnel at Home?

There are a couple of simple tests you can do at home to check for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. One common test is the Phalen’s test, where you press the backs of your hands together with your wrists bent for about 60 seconds. If you feel tingling or numbness, it could indicate Carpal Tunnel. Another is Tinel’s test, where you gently tap on the inside of your wrist over the median nerve; if this triggers tingling or pain, it’s another sign.
