We’ll then use a small needle to numb the area with local anaesthesia, so you won’t feel any pain during the procedure. After that, a tiny 5mm opening is made, and the device is carefully fed through this opening using the needle as a guide.
With the help of ultrasound, we position the device under the ligament that’s causing pressure on your nerve. Then, using precise ultrasound guidance, we cut the ligament safely, all done under your skin without any large incisions.
Once that’s complete, a simple dressing is applied, and you’re all set to go home. The entire process takes about 30 minutes from start to finish, and you’ll be discharged the same day, walking out on your own.
